Speaking to the Champions League magazine, Ibrahimovic said: "I think Christian is our ‘Captain America’. He is doing extraordinary things, he seems happy. Being at Milan makes all players happy. It is not just my opinion, all players would tell you the same thing. They have an optimal environment in which to focus solely on football and performing on the pitch. As for Pulisic, we have turned his form back around and now you can see that he is really happy on the pitch, and that is why he is performing at a high level. Even off the pitch he is also crucial for us."
THE BIGGER PICTURE
While Pulisic has been in form, some of his team-mates have not. Milan sit seventh in Serie A as it stands, eight points off Napoli in first. Likewise, in the Champions League Paulo Fonseca's team have won just two of their four games so far, meaning there is work to be done if they are to have a chance of challenging for silverware this term.

Pulisic will be focusing on things away from Milan for the next few weeks as he jets off to join up with the USMNT. New head coach Mauricio Pochettino has had a mixed start to life Stateside and will need the 26-year-old at his best if they are to beat Jamaica in the Concacaf Nations League this month.
