According to recent claims made by French media outlet RMC Sport, Tottenham are interested in signing Paris Saint-Germain right-back Serge Aurier this summer.
Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino is looking at potential replacements for Kyle Walker with the England international continuing to be linked with a move to Manchester City, and he is said to have been impressed by Aurier.
The Ivory Coast international has two years left on his contract with PSG and despite a number of issues during his time in the French capital – including when he wasn’t allowed into England for a Champions League tie against Arsenal in November after previously assaulting a police offer – Unai Emery has been impressed with the full-back’s behaviour in recent months and is keen to hand him a new deal.
Tottenham supporters were quick to have their say on the rumour via social media, and the majority don’t want to sign the 24-year-old because of his previous attitude problems and would rather stick with Kieran Trippier.
