James Milner turned out for Aston Villa on loan during the 2005-06 campaign before joining the club on a permanent deal in 2008.
Milner made over 120 appearances during his time with Villa, scoring 22 times in the process.
Manchester City ultimately signed the midfielder in the summer of 2010, and the Englishman went on to make over 200 appearances for the Citizens before joining Liverpool.
Milner has been excellent for the Reds since arriving at Anfield, and has been key to Jurgen Klopp’s team starting the 2018-19 campaign with four straight Premier League wins.

Milner might turn 33 in the early stages of 2019, but there seems to be plenty of football left in the versatile midfielder.
It is unlikely that the 61-time England international would leave Liverpool any time soon, but the Villa fans are desperate for the 5ft 9in ace to return to Villa Park.
