Leeds have had a brilliant start to life under Marcelo Bielsa, but is their lack of squad depth going to come back to bite them?
Leeds have picked up 23 points from their first 12 Championship games, and Bielsa’s side currently sit third behind West Brom and Sheffield United.
While the amount of draws (five so far) will certainly be a concern for the boss, he has to be delighted with how the squad have adapted to his principles.
However, there are still shortcomings in the squad that could cost the Whites, especially after the injury crisis that spread through the ranks like wildfire.

Pablo Hernandez and Kemar Roofe have both been missing since the last international break, and flying wing-back Barry Douglas picked up a muscle problem last week.
Gaetano Berardi is expected to return soon, but these injuries to first-team players will surely have Bielsa eyeing his options in the January transfer market.
While fans were concerned about the lack of midfield depth this summer, it’s the defence that is most in need of reinforcements.
Pontus Jansson is in the form of his life, but both he and Liam Cooper have a tendency to pick up little injuries along the way, and young Conor Shaughnessy simply isn’t ready to fill the void.
Then there is the versatile Berardi, who was in brilliant form before his injury but is certainly prone collect red cards and thus suspensions.
So, Leeds fans, do you need another centre-back in January? Let us know your thoughts by voting in the poll below…
