In a YouTube video posted by Neymar himself, the Brazilian superstar stated that he would one day like to play in the Premier League.
Considering that the 26-year-old has a huge Transfermarkt valuation of £162 million and is currently afforded a weekly wage of £537,000 by French outfit PSG, few clubs on these shores could afford to add Neymar to their squads.
Paul Pogba and Man Utd seem to be after Harry Redknapp’s ‘King of the Jungle’ crown! Check out the video below…
If any English club could attract the former Barcelona star, though, it is Manchester United.
The most successful club in Premier League history would surely suit a talent such as Neymar’s, but whether the 96-cap Brazil forward would be a wise investment would be another matter entirely.
He would undeniably bring star power and a great deal of additional quality to Old Trafford, but considering the amount of areas that Jose Mourinho’s squad must be improved in, even if Neymar was keen on a switch to England, the Red Devils would have to pass up on any potential opportunity to move for him at this time.
What do you think, United fans, would Neymar be a wise investment if he was interested in making the switch?
