Leeds United are at risk of dropping into the bottom half of the English Championship table this weekend after a heavy defeat at the hands of Middlesbrough on Friday night.
Paul Heckingbottom’s side failed to build on their vital win against Brentford last week, again falling far below expectations, making defensive errors and generally looking devoid of confidence.
A Patrick Bamford hat-trick gave Boro the 3-0 win, with supporters left fuming at the performances from the likes of goalkeeper Felix Wiedwald.
He was at fault for the second of the evening and looked shaky throughout, spilling balls and making less than convincing punches to clear his box.
Supporters have had a enough of the German, with the performance against Middlesbrough not in isolation. The shot-stopper has come under fire over the past couple of months for similarly inept displays.
Some fans are even saying they’d rather not see the £1.8m-rated player in Leeds colours ever again.
They took to Twitter to share their thoughts…
