Stephan Lichtsteiner found his name on the list of players Arsenal are officially releasing from their contracts on June 30, just eight days from now.
As it stands, this Swiss veteran is soon to be without a club and yet to determine in which direction his career goes. With all of that being said, however, that hasn’t stopped this 35-year-old from spending his holiday working.

His adventure at the Emirates was a rather short one as he is leaving Arsenal after just a single season since joining the Gunners from Juventus in the summer of 2018.
During that time, he managed 23 games, scoring and assisting one goal. Even though he never really played a major role for Unai Emery and his squad, this Swiss veteran did bring a bit of experience and stability when it was needed.
We’ll still have to wait and see what the future holds for him but as of 30 June, he will be a free agent.
